how to remove and reinstall a starter

Removal Preparation: Battery ground cable 1.3rd crossmember & transfer under cover. 2.Exhaust front pipe. 3.Heat protector. 4.Disconnect the starter wiring connector from terminals "B" and "S". 5.Remove mounting bolts on inside and outside. 6.Remove starter assembly toward the bottom of engine. Installation 1.Starter assembly. Starter Removal

2.Torque the starter mounting bolts to 40 Nm (30 ft lbs). 3.Reconnect the starter wiring connectors to terminals "B" and "S". Terminal B And Starter Mounting Bolt Torques

Torque terminal "B" to 8.5 Nm (73 in lbs). 4.Install heat protector. 5.Torque the exhaust front pipe. Exhaust Pipe Torques

Nuts 67 Nm (49 ft lbs). Bolts and Nuts 27 Nm (20 ft lbs) 6.Torque the pre-catalytic converter fixing bolts to 27 Nm (20 ft lbs). 7.Reinstall the 3rd crossmember & transfer under cover. 8 Reconnect the battery ground cable.
