1996 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 164k miles

My Rodeo acting like it has clogged fuel filter. (starving for gas & dying) We changed the in-line fuel filter & cleaned out the fuel injectors. (MPFI) No improvement. Seems to run just sligtly better when gas is added. The ck eng. light comes on & goes out intermittently. We dont have special scan tool required to retrieve trouble codes from computer. What other components have similar symptoms when they malfumction? Thank You so much!

Hi katsquest,

The throttle position sensor, fuel pressure regulator and Mass Air flow meter can cause such problems.

You can try some major parts stores which provides scanning services. Some provide free scanning while others charges for them.
