my truck runs fine but then out of no where when i step on the gas the truck sort of pulls back and the more i step on the gas the slower the truck goes. and then when i release alittle from the gas it goes faster. i have no idea what to do. do you think it has something maybe to do with the oil?

no. try replacing the throttle position sensor and also check the fuel pressure.
