Well, my Honda Accord was stolen last week and all I had was $500 in cash to find a cheap replacement to get to work for a couple months, until I could finance something better. I found a 1993 Isuzu Rodeo, with a very nice body, but the engine made a sound when accelerated that sounded like coins being shaken in a tin can. I figured if I got it home in one piece, I could fix a screwed up push rod, which is what I suspected. If successful, I could make a good return on the vehicle. Well I drove it 95 miles home and came to within 1/4 mile of my exit, when the engine made a loud POP, the car died, blue smoke started rolling from the hood and I lost ALL my fluids at once (oil, water and coolant). It's been a very bad week and I went from very relieved. To very discouraged in a matter of seconds. Does anyone know what happened and what I can expect to go through as far as repairs? Any encouragement out there?
