1992 Isuzu Rodeo Question 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 95,000 miles

I recently purchased a 92 Isuzu Rodeo with 95,000. I believe the upkeep was not kept. My gas mileage is out of this world, I can get around 80 miles to a tank of gas. I recently replaced the battery, spark plug, cap and fuel filter. The engine light comes on after it warms up and I have a squeeking noice coming from the small bearing (to the left of the a/c compressor). Lately, I've been having trouble getting it started, it what's to kick over, I have to hold down the gas pedal for awhile and then it starts, but it is at a rough idle. The vehicle idles at around 500. Can you help me out with all these problems. Please don't say to throw it away, I'm in Korea and need it for about 7 more months. Anything will help, thanks for your time.

First you need to find out what codes have come up on the ecm. To do this remove the plastic cover on the drivers side floor board. You can see the ecm there. You will see two wires one white with blue strip and one white with a green strip both will have spade connectors on them one male and one female. With the ignition switch off connect them together. Then urn the ignition switch to the on position, note do not start, you will start to see the check engine light start to flash. Example: one flash then a pause then two flashes means code 12 so on and so on. Write theses code down. You can get the trouble codes from www. Troublecodes. Net/isuzu/iszucel.
