Hello. I'm john.
i have a 99 isuzu rodeo. V6, 2wd, 99000mi.
i'm having a problem with a fuse. This fuse controls the instrument cluster and parking lights. It's a 15a fuse. I have not used a higher amperage, but when I turn on my lights, I see a flash and hear a pop, then the lights go out. I'm having the hardest time resolving this, because I don't know too much about wiring. But it sounds to me like something is grounding. Could you please help me? I can't make a donation right now, but I assure you I will make one soon.

Hi there,

Do you have a trailer plug wired in? If so check there first, you can also remove the globes and see if the fuse blows, if not replace globes one at a time and see which light may be causing the problem.

Well, I sincerely thank you for your advice. I tried what you suggested, and still have the problem. The hitch wasn't even wired, the wires are just dangling.
So, if anyone, anyone at all has any other advice to offer on how to fix this, please let me know. Please, someone help me with this.
Thank you.
