Hello I dont know if you can help i live in australia and i am trying fix a holden jackaroo 1999(isuzu trooper?) model with a 3.0 litre diesel motor (4JX1). In the mornings after driving for about a minute the car surges and the car revs high. It will actually take off of its own accord if the clutch is out. The injectors had a recall for that model and they have been replaced. When i plug in a scan tool fault codes P0198 Engine oil temperature sensor high and P0380 glow plug/heater circuit a malfunction comes up. Would these fault codes cause that problem? If not do you have any ideas what might? If you a can help I would be happy to provide a donation.:)

Cheers
Dustin

G'Day there,

The codes that you have won't cause the problem you have normally. Out of interest do you know what oil is being used, it should have (in Mobil) Mobil 1 10W-30. I fell that the problem is in the injector pump / governor. Email me at mhpautos@bigpond.com and i will do some home work on it for you.
