Alternator problem causing dummy lights to come on?

I have a 1994 Isuzu Rodeo 5 speed manual xmission with 140K miles V6 3.2 liter engine.

I think I have an alternator problem? The voltometer in my rodeo only reads 12V when started (unlike the 13-15 it should) and my fuel, brake & battery dummy lights stay on. At first this only occasionally happened when I turned on the air conditioning (and you could hear the air fan gasping as well as see the dummy lights) but now it happens whether the air is on or not. Also, there is a sqeeking sound that sounds like one of the belts but maybe it's actually the alternator, not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

After checking things out I found that it wasn't the alternator but a bad harmonic balancer (crankshaft pulley). The outer 2 pulleys have separated from the balancer unit and can be turned/jiggled.

I am having the same problem in my 2001 isuzu rodeo. My battery light and brake lights will not go off. I was told it was the alternator but in fact it was not looks to be the pulley was loose on the alternator belt and now it is cracking up just fine however I cannot get those lights to go off. Any suggestion how to reset them.
