1987 Other Isuzu Models master cylinder

How do I determine if my master cylinder is bad or there is another problem causing my brakes to require pumping in order to stop.
Fluid reservoir is full and there are no apparent leaks in the brake lines. Pedal goes to the floor when depressed, even at a complete stop.
Help! Thanks!

replace the master cylinder and booster !!
