how can I know if the crankshaft sensor is already busted?And what are the sign?Help me please!

If there is a problem with the crank shaft sensor, a scan will show this up as a fault code, if a crank sensor is faulty the ECU will not get a primary crankshaft reference and the engine will not run. Check this first.

I check the crankshaft sensor it's ok. The problem is when the engine is cold the engine start. Ofter and hour I turn the key off and then I start againthe engine does not start anymore. What is the solution of my 4jg2 3.1d engine
