2004 Isuzu Axiom My car stalls!!!

My car stalls while I'm driving, when I'm not excellerating, or when I'm stopped at a red light. The other day I was turning onto my street and it died, turned off or quit on me whatever you want to call it, all I know is I almost ended up in the fire station! I can get it started back up on one or two tries. Does anyone know what it could be???Please help, Thanks!

Check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter and fuel pump if okay test the ignition switch
