My car just started losing power today, up hill is bad. I just had my transmission fluid and filter chaged so I dont think that is it.

Hi mark mitcham,

Was any repairs done prior to it occurring?
Is the Check engine Light indicating?
When was the last time a tune-up was performed?

I had the transmission flushed about two months ago. Have not had a tune up.

Maybe an engine tune-up is what you need. It could be the ignition or fuel system that is causing the problem.

The only thing a transmission fault can cause it is that the gears are not downshifting when going up gradients.
