2006 Isuzu Ascender winding noise

winding noise by the alternator??? I checked my belts and they seemed alright??? But I dont want to get ripped off if I go to the car dealership tp get it fixed..

it's the idler pulley,below the alternator.very common problem.( I assume you have the 4.2L)take the belt off and spin the idler pulley,you will feel it.
