I am almost done with putting the transmission back in but i went to add some fluid and it only took 1/2 quart before it dripped. I cannot remember for sure if I drained it or not. Would t it have leaked from back of transmission where the drive shaft goes in if i didn't? Or there is no seal back there?

Yes, there is a seal rear transmission seal at the drive shaft. Here is how you can replace it. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Hi,

I noticed that you haven't been contacted for three days. Have you been able to make any progress?

As far as your last question, yes, fluid will leak. There is a tail housing seal that prevents that from happening.

Let me know how things are going.
