I have 14.8V at idle on my vehicle listed above 1.2 Petrol India Version.
Even if I revs at about 1,500 RPMs, still it stays between 14.7 and 14.8V. I have no other issues. Everything solid okay.

But I'm worried if my idle alternator output voltage 14.8V is too high or not?
What's the acceptable voltage range for this particular car?

Hi,

The voltage running should be around 14, so this appears to be fine. If it reaches 16v, then it will become a concern.

Take a look through this link that explains how to test an alternator. Take note of the voltages shown in the tests/videos.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,
