Intermittent starting issues replaced the coil pack?

Sometimes starts fine, other times doesnt want to start. Just replaced the coil pack, wireset, spark plugs , distributor rotor and cap. No spark to plugs about to check to see if coil to distributor has spark but was wondering where camshaft positioning sensor is

I don't think the camshaft sensor will not make it start but you can try it. Also, I would check the compression as well. Here is a video to help you check which system is not working to help narrow the problem down.

Here is the location of the camshaft sensor, we need to see which system is failing to pinpoint the fix. Also, can I ask if the security light is flashing while you are cranking the engine over? If so this is the problem. Please upload a short video in your response of the problem, so I can see what's going on. Check out the images (below). So there might not be a camshaft sensor depending on the date your truck was made, here is the location if your truck has one. Ken
