New re-manufactured engine just installed. Starts fine, idles fine, put into gear, okay. Press on gas engine goes rough but continues to run, then smooths out when you let off the accelerator. Will continue to speed up with very smooth depressing accelerator, but if you press down firmly, like you would if entering traffic, engine runs rough and you have to let off the accelerator and it smooths out. I have driven the truck up to 45-50 mph but not more. When you get up to speed engine runs fine. Slowing down for stop light it is fine, idles fine at stop light. Very light depression of accelerator and again truck moves okay, but again, if accelerator if pushed down abruptly, the engine immediately goes rough. New spark plugs, new injectors, mass air valve, air filter installed.
Plugged into dash auto computer access and get the codes P1849, P1853, P1857 and P1861. I know these say Transmission Transfer case contact plate general circuit failure, but I have no idea what this means. There is also an error code B1359 Spark output Circuit Ignition Run/Accessory Circuit Failure. And the checking tool says this is a common error code for the make, model, engine, transmission.

Unfortunately more then likely these will not cause this issue. The P codes are just saying that the vehicle is not shifting from 2WD to 4WD properly. The B code is saying that there is no power in ACC position. More then likely these are stored codes because if the vehicle starts and runs then the B code is not active. If the vehicle will shift to 4WD then the P codes are not active either.

Does your scan tool read live data? If it does can you monitor the o2 sensor data and tell me what it is doing when you accelerate hard and it acts up? Let's start with this and see if the vehicle has a lean or rich issue. Also, was this engine a re manufactured engine from a company like Jasper or something else? If it was they come with a warranty and if you take it to a shop that they have authorized they should cover whatever the issue is assuming it is part of the engine that was replaced and most likely it is.

Let's start with this info and go from there.
