Windows, wipers, door chime, four wheel drive and dome lights will not work?

During damp or cold conditions, our truck windows, wipers, door chime, four wheel drive and dome lights will not work. We will hear a "click" on the passenger side to the right of the ashtray. When that click noise is heard, the issues stop. This may last a second or two, but if we are lucky it may last for an hour. Not good when it is raining. That is why we use Rainex wiper fluid.

Nice work and the Rainex this is a common problem with these trucks. The GEM goes out causing these issues.

Below is the locations so you can change it out.

Note: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven ten miles (16 km) or more to relearn the strategy.
