My interior overhead lights won't shut off unless I have the switch all the way off; meaning all my interior lights are off. so, I can't see my gauges at night at the same time the lights became stuck the passenger side windows and locks quit working and the overhead display started reading -40 all the time. I checked to make sure all the doors were closed, I opened and closed all of them just to be sure. Any advice?

Let me start with the -40 because this is a sensor issue or an open circuit in the wiring for this temp sensor. It is basically a control module program to read an open circuit as -40 because this is the lowest reading that the module can display.

So that is most likely a different issue than the light issue so let's start with the light issue and we can get a new post started on that sensor issue if needed.

The lighting issue does sound like a door ajar issue as these lights will stay on until all the doors are closed.

So, we need to test each door switch and find out if the switch is the issue.

Basically, we need to disconnect each door switch one at a time and see if the light goes out.

I am attaching the wiring diagram for your review, but the door latch is also the ajar switch so let me know what you find with this and we can go from there.

Thanks
