Vehicle has new radiator and interior blower is working. I replaced a cracked vacuum hose on the exterior area under the hood, but it blows warm air for a minute then cold again. Every now and then it will blow hotter air then immediately start blowing cold air again, so I am not sure if it is heater core or what. Please can you help me with this I am freezing in Colorado? Thanks!

Hello,

When the engine is cold can you open the radiator to see if it is full? If you have a slight blown head gasket it will fill the cooling system with exhaust making the heater not work or you could just have a small leak in the system.

Here is a guide to help us do the basic checks:

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
