Intermediate Shaft replacement?

Is this for the steering or driveline? If for the front CV axle which is what I think you mean here is the part number and the instructions on how to change it out.

For the front CV axles of a 2014 Jeep Compass with a 2.0L 4-cylinder 2WD engine, the part numbers are:

Left Front CV Axle: Mopar 68223535AA
Right Front CV Axle: Mopar 68223536AA
