Can i interchange my ford edge compressor with a Peugeot compressor for the A/C system?

Hello,
Those compressors are likely not interchangeable. Keep in mind the only time you are able to do a swap of this type is when the part number for both of the compressor are the same. As they will have different mounting points as well as different wiring harness.
