Interchangeable transmissions

I have the car listed above and have to replace the transmission. I want to know if the Toyota Matrix transmission is in fact interchangeable with my car? Also, is a 2003 Pontiac Vibe transmission interchangeable with my car?

To answer your question, no, The Toyota transmission is not interchangeable and yes, the 2003 Pontiac Vibe transmission is interchangeable as long as it is the all-wheel-drive (AWD) version and not the front-wheel-drive.
