I have the car listed above and have to replace the transmission. I want to know if the Toyota Matrix transmission is in fact interchangeable with my car? Also, is a 2003 Pontiac Vibe transmission interchangeable with my car?
Thank you, Donna H

Hello, I'm Danny.

To answer your question, no, The Toyota transmission is not interchangeable and yes, the 2003 Pontiac Vibe transmission is interchangeable as long as it is the all-wheel-drive (AWD) version and not the front-wheel-drive. Your transmission is the MU5 transmission.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
