2009 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT
132,000 MILES • 4 CYL • TURBO • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

I know this is common on these cars and other makes. I have replaced it on another VW years ago, just wanting to see what you can help with here. Only has one code: p2015. What can be tested to make sure this is an electrical or mechanical issue?

Those runners do have a tendency to go bad.

Look below, I have attached the trouble shooting guide for the P2015.

Run down that process it should help you determine the issue.

Nothing underneath or by the flap has 3 connectors, only underneath it there is a 2 wire connector.

Yes, this is the vacuum valve. I think the sensor is on the other end, under the oil filter.

Yes. So this is the connector you needed the terminal 1, designation right?

Yes, but based on the looks of the intake online it's on the end, have to remove the intake to disconnect it.

That's right the intake has to be removed.
I have attached the torque specs should you end up removing it.
