Normal hand tools sockets and wrenches. You may need fuel rail tools available at auto parts. All sockets and wrenches are metric 8mm-15mm depending on whether it is upper or lower manifold.

I have a 24valve dohc. It has 105,000.
I need to change my spark plug wires but have to take off the intake manifold to reach the back 3 wires. I need to know what the torque spec's are.

The tourqe is about 90 inch-pounds. I've been using about 8 foot-pounds, which is pretty close. Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

My o6 TAURUS check engine lite came on so spark plugs, wires and dist cap was replace. A couple of weeks later car was running rough and no power. Notice pinholes on intake manifold assy. Use JB weld for a emergency fix that last for maybe 10 miles before new holes appear. Had new manifold intake install and last half a day before new pinholes appear again on new parts. With the pinholes on manifold assy is causing engine I believe is losing engine compression. What could be possible causing this problem?

Hi there,
Thank you for the donation,
I have never heard of this before, there are often problems with alloy castings and porosity, but not pin holes appearing like this, can you post any pics?
