My car listed above has an Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor that attaches to the upper portion of my intake manifold, which my Haynes book refers to as a plenum. There is a crack surrounding the IAT sensor. Is this a concern? Should I try to patch the crack? The car runs well.

Hello, Danny here.
It is possible to get a false reading having that crack. You can try to patch by using JB Weld on aluminum. I did this a a Ford van intake when it had a porous crack leaking Anti-freeze. Just be sure to not get any on the sensor so it could still be removable in the future in needed. Danny-
