If the intake manifold failed, would I experience sudden loss of power, intern leading to loss of oil pressure?

Not really, intakes do not normally fail but if they did more than likely your car would quit running. If you have no oil pressure then check your oil level first. Then have things like pump checked or if driven by a chain maybe chain has broken. Bearing could have failed as well but normally you'll hear a knock if that happens.

Thanks, also if intake did fail could water have leaked into the oil?
