Instrument lights turn off then on while driving?

As i was driving the instrument lights turned off for a second, then turn on back and the odometer trip reset to 0.0. i would like to know what is wrong with that?

This sounds like the cluster is going out but to be sure we need to do a CAN scan. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon.

here is how to change the cluster out which you can get a rebuilt unit by searching google or eBay. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
