I wish to ask if anyone might help concerning my car listed above w203 saloon.

I went to the car and it started okay, but the instrument panel was completely out with no indicator lights or sounds working at all.

The fuel gauge, parking brake, speedometer, main beam, plus the sound for all indicators etc.

The windshield wipers and horn worked as did interior lights although the main lights were fully on when driven.

The rear lights and brake lights work as did the horn. I do not know if it is related but I have had a SRS light on for a day or so and have checked the connectors under front seats.

Please help!

It sounds like you have a fuse out. here is a guide to show you how to check the fuses and a wiring diagrams to help you see how the system works. Check fuse #42

Check out the diagrams (below).

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

Hi Ken,
Thanks for the reply fortunately the problem has resolved itself but I was interested to to find if removing fuse 42 would give me the same symptoms and it did.
The fuse was not blown, so am now thinking the problem may return and it maybe a wiring issue. Any ideas on the color or where it may run?
Regards,
Dave

If the problem does return check the power and grounds for the cluster and if they work the cluster is bad and needs to be replaced.
