I have the instrument cluster from a 2003 Mazda Protege5. The car is an automatic with the speed/manual shift option. I was wondering if I can put this cluster in my 2002 Mazda Protege5. The clusters are a little different because the 2003 has a little screen that tells you what gear you're in, but I've already swapped the transmission from the 2003 into the 2002.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Honestly, the new one may bolt in place, but it is different. When anything changes, it creates problems. I wouldn't recommend it. Is there something wrong with the one presently in the vehicle?

Let me know.
