Where are the Input/output transmission sensors located?

I took my car to Chrysler to check rough shifting, staying in one gear. They scanned it and said it needed an output transmission speed sensor and I could save money and do it or have it done (replaced). We can't find it anywhere. Help please.

Hello,

Your vehicle is fitted with the 4 speed 42RLE transmission.
See location of the speed sensors on illustration below.

The securing bolt should be tightened to 9Nm, 80 in lbs.

Please see illustration below for sensor, part number 52854001AA.
