What is the torque spec for the inner tie rod to the rack? Please.

Hmm. There is nothing listed in any of the service information I can access. Even the OEM service information does not show a number. All of them call for replacing the entire rack instead of the inner tie rod ends. Probably your best option would be to call a dealer and see if they have a torque number. Sorry I could not be more helpful.

Steve W, thanks for answering. I was afraid you would say that. When I called the dealership to order the inner tie rod part, I was told it is not sold individually. You have to buy the entire rack at $900.00! That is rather dirty of Mercedes and not very smart at all.
