Injectors have no ground pulse

Hello and welcome to 2CarPros. The computer controls the ground for your injectors. Since you have fault code 00956 key 2 I would suspect a bad key. Do you have another key you can try to see if it stays running? I would also like to know how you got those codes since they are specific manufacturer codes? If you have the scan tool to read that type of information then go to immobilizer and see if if the computer recognizes your key.

The only other key I have is the valet key, which normally starts it, but doesn't now. I only have one remote key. The scanner belongs to my neighbor, he uses it at work. However, he doesn't normally work on imports so he isn't very familiar with those specific codes. But he isn't able to scan all modules. He said it was locking him out from immobilizer, and maybe one or two others, I don't remember for sure. Immobilizer or key problem was my first guess but since valet key doesn't work either, I'm not sure. Also the remote key works for doors. The code says key 2 adaptation limit reached. It's when the remote is used more than 200 times out of range from what I read. But my remote works fine. That us why I was thinking it was a bad ECU relay. Or ECU software problem.I would like to know where to locate ECU relay.

Hello and sorry for the delay reply. I was looking into where the immobilizer is located and I see you have a fault for the instrument panel 00003. The immobilizer is integrated into the cluster.

General Information

The immobilizer control module is integrated in the instrument cluster. The immobilizer control module is replaced together with the instrument cluster.

-  If the control module is replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Functions" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Also the coil reader could be faulty where the key will not be read. That is the black plastic around the tumbler. Check your connector to verify it is plugged in right. Lastly you may want to try this. Unplug both battery cables and touch the leads together for 5 minutes. After reconnect the cables. Get a trickle charger and attach to the battery to set a trickle charge. Insert the key to the ignition and turn key on to position 2 and leave it on for an hour or 2. This may pick up the code again? It may or may not work but worth a shot. Try that and let us know if it worked.
