Hey everyone,

Got the truck listed above that needed new glow plugs for cold starts. Tried to go about doing it myself and I may have crossed the wires for the new plug or plugs that go into the gaskets located under the valve covers. If anyone can help with wiring help and maybe a couple of pointers that would be very helpful. Can’t find anything on Google to help me with this late of a model.

Hello my name is Dave.

As far as the glow plugs go they all are on the same circuit so crossing them wouldn't matter. A common problem with the 7.3 are the valve cover gaskets which contain the wiring harness for both the injectors and the glow plugs, so that is the first suspect. I would recommend replacing the gaskets as a first step however I have attached all the wiring diagrams for the engine in your truck, including the glow plugs and injectors.
