Will not start if the engine is warm

1. When the engine is hot and I turn it off, it will not start up again until it cools.

2. If I don't start it every day, it starts very hard and it's 50/50 if the battery will hold out until it does start.

It has a 390 with a manual choke.

Good morning,

When it will not start, do you have spark at the plugs?

It sounds like a failed ignition coil. It may not be delivering spark when it warms up.

Make sure there is fuel in the carburetor as well.
