Key will turn and sometimes it won't start,
turn the key off and it may start after a few tries.

Sometimes (especially when cold) check gauges lite (charging = 0) after restart and warm = normal charge.

Side note: A/C blower will turn on but A/C clutch not engaging.

Mechanic replaced lock mechanism. (Still issues as above and below)

He clears all codes then some come back, clears again, maybe less codes or no codes or more codes.

Any ideas? he checked all fuses and things.

Good morning,

I attached a wiring diagram for you for the starting circuit. Make sure you check all the fuses for power on both sides for power.

This could be the relay, a bad connection, or the starter motor itself.

The mechanic checked all fuses inside the cab and under-hood, in addition to all relays under-hood.

He replaced: Standard Ignition 2 Terminal Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid, Dorman OE Solutions Leak Detection Pump, Switch replaced.

He has a Snap-On 1000 (worth big bucks).
That reads and tells error codes + Check Engine Light.

He believes it is the PCM on the left inside fender.

It sounds like an expensive guess, but I would do more diagnostics before going there.

Sounds like you need someone more familiar with electronics.

It should not take this long at all.

Decided after him explaining that all codes, po645,499,443 and charging, and A/C clutch all refer back to the one of the four modules on PCM.

It fixed all issues, 60 +miles, no problems.

Thank you for the diagrams, which I shall keep for my own reference.
I appreciate it.
