2 weeks ago, I burned an ignition coil. While moving it the ignition fuse blew and caused these exact symptoms. Now I was driving, and the car shut off. Symptoms are no obd2 communication. Crank no start. (Has fuel) fan won't shut off. Electric throttle body won't shut off. No power to transmission range sensor. Car will drain the battery without the key. No blown fuses.

Hi,

If you are unable to link to a scan tool, check to see if there is power to pin 16 on the DLC. If there isn't check fuse 8 in the under-hood fuse box. (See pics below)

Next, the idea that it drains the battery indicates a short at some point. Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Using a multimeter of a voltmeter, place the red meter wire on the battery cable and the black meter wire on the battery negative. How much voltage is drawn?

At this point, you can remove one fuse at a time to see which one allows the electrical draw to stop. This way we will have narrowed down the circuit involved.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe
