I have a 1996 Q 45 and am having a problem with bucking and then stalling while driving.
The car run perfectly for about a half hour and then it will stall at red lights or worse when you are moving.
I'm thinking a MAF sensor but why does it run ok until it heats up?
Any suggestions?

Hi
More inclined to suspect crankshaft and/or camshaft sensors. Check engine light on? Tune up recent, filters etc.?
Let me know
Thanks for donate

The check engine light does come on. I have a new air filter in the car. Haven't had a tune up in a while.
How expensive are these sensors you mentioned and how do you check for them being bad?
Cheers Derek

I had this EXACT same problem with my 94 Q45. I took it to a mechanic who replaced the MAF Sensor and the problem has been gone ever sense. You can get one online for about $100. Or you can have a mechanic order it since they get a discount and it'll cost about $70.

I got mine done for free since the dealer I got my car from had a 30 day warranty.
