Possible Oil Problem

1991 Infiniti Q45. 121,000miles. I experiencing pinging noise and the oil light is flashing on and off. I had a partial oil change (change the oil but not the filter). Could that be a problem or more? I haven't drove it much since the problem.

Clogged oil filter-the oil will not circulate and with a bad oil pump the oil won't go no where-the pinging could be a bearing/s knocking.

Get an oil pressure gauge-find the sending unit remove it and hook the gauge up and read the oil pressure. Then report back your findings
