My 2006 QX56 DVD player gives me the error message..'disc format error'.....I bought the car used 1 year ago...this is the first time i used it.....just would like to have it work for my kids on a trip....???easy fix???...i have tried a number of different DVDs on it, and it always give the same message...

Thank you for the donation.

Symptoms indicates a fault with the player and it is internal and not a DIY job. You would have to remove the player for repairs/replacement.
