What parts should be replace when the repair technician tells you that they have to replace the rack and pinion? Also could they tell that the ball that connect the steering wheel and tire together needs to be replaced? I had the rack and pinion fixed 10-2-09.

When replacing the rack and pinion front end should be checked and also car need an alignment after job was done hope that answer your question let me know
