When I start the car and the compressor seems to be running great, and it pumps it up just fine. ... why does my car die when i barely touch gas pedal

You may have a problem with the pedal position sensor or the throttle body actuator.If one of them sends a signal that the other doesnt get or if they are out of sync, it can cause the computer to do things like it is getting throttle even though it isnt.i suggest finding a shop with the proper software to scan the PCM as well as watch the information to see if there is a correlation issue between the two or possibly a bad spot in one of the sensors
