I believe I need to replace the water pump as it is leaking and the engine temp spikes.

I have read about having to turn the pump 20 degrees clockwise to remove it, and 20 degrees counterclockwise when reinstalling.

I have replaced the starter, alternator, and radiator on this (or my 2001 I30), so I do have some mechanical ability.

Am I over my head on this one?
