1996 Infiniti I30 charge circuit problem

ok so i thought my alternator had gone out so i checked it with a DC amp meter and there was nothing so i replaced it and still wasnt getting power so i got a schematic and followed everything and it was all good then i seen that the charge indicator light was part of the circuit so i replaced it and still no power i need some help to get my families only car up and running
