Brakes problem
2003 Infiniti G35 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Mechanic told me rear brakes and rotors need replaced. There isn't any sound from the sensors or noise that worn rotors make to lead me to believe there is a problem. Would there be noises and sensor squeeling if the brake pads and rotors need to be replaced?

As far as the pads with a sensor, the sensor can break off causing there to be no squeeling sound. The main two reasons that you would replace the rotor are warping or from the pads being ran too low that the grinded a groove in them. I would take it to an independent shop for a second opinion.
