1996 Infiniti G20 speedometer

Filled up with gas yesterday and when I pulled out, the speedometer and odometer just completely stopped working, and the check engine light came on. Can it be somethig simple as a fuse ? I checked the gas cap and it is tight.

Should not be a fuse problem. As the CEL is indicating, it most probably is a faulty Vehicle Speed Sensor.

Get a free scan done at Autozone and let me know the exact trouble code.
