code says knock sensor bank 2 where is that location of knock sensor how easy is it to repair diy do i need afterarket one or factory any difference

Disconnect the knock sensor sub-harness connector. Using an ohmmeter (which can measure more than 10M Ohms ), check for continuity between the A and ground. Replace the sensor if does not have continuity. CAUTION: Replace the sensor if it has undergone shocks or has been dropped.
