The other day I realized that my alternator was missing the bottom bolt that holds it on, somehow it had vibrated loose. Today I replaced the bolt but in the process unhooked the battery and took out the alternator. I hooked everything back up the way it came off but for some reason now the interior lights, guages, and ac won't come on unless the car's rpm go above 3 thousand rpm. And when I hit the brakes after that the everything electrical tries to shut off. I've also had to be jumped off 3 times since this morning. Could the battery have gone bad and be causing all of this?

I am having the exact same issue. Did you ever fix it? Has anyone else ever experienced this? Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm going to kill this car.
