Where is the Inertia switch located?

Does a 2018 Ford Ranger 3.2L have an inertia switch? If so, where is it located? Thank you

This vehicle does not have an inertia switch that I can see. We don't offer this vehicle in the USA, so it is possible that some foreign governments still require the switch but most all modern vehicles like this have this computer controlled.

Basically, it uses a couple of different sensors to determine the vehicle's position. These include the yaw sensor, roll rate data, and longitudinal sensor.

These are all sensors that are included in the RCM or restraint control module.

This is what controls the air bags so instead of have another switch to give the same info, the ABS module gets this info and shares it with the PCM. So, if the vehicle rolls over the PCM will be told this and cut the fuel off.
